There is a lot happening in fourth grade this week!

Tuesday:  Report cards will be sent home

Wednesday: This day is our field trip to the Oxnard Performing Arts Center. Students are to wear their uniforms this day.  We will return to school for lunch.  There will be a quiz on the words from chapters one through five of Mixed-Up Files. Stations of the Cross will be at 2:00.

Important:  Please return the field trip permission slip along with $4 by Wednesday morning.

Reminder:  All students should be gathering information about their Wax Museum people.  Please assist your children in deciding how to dress for the person they will be portraying.  Each student will also gather information and photos to display at their tables on the evening of the event (June 13th.)  The tri-fold science boards work great for this purpose.

All students should be reading a Caldecott or Newberry award winning book for the next book report.  The book needs to be completed and in class on or before Wednesday, May 9th.

Many students are in need of extra pencils and wide ruled binder paper.  I have been supplying these items but am beginning to run low.  Please ask your child if he or she needs supplies.

All students should be memorizing a poem for our April 23rd competition.  The poem needs to be at least 25 lines.

As always, please feel free to contact me at any time if you have questions.

Blessings,

Mrs. Sharon Redmond
