Math: We continue our work in Unit 4: decimal concepts and operations
Reading: We continue learning how to handle the challenges of non-fiction reading, but we continue to read chapter books for our Reading Response journals. Since it is a short week, I would like to see the green and yellow journals on Tuesday. Red and blue journals were due today. If you have any questions, please contact me. Remember nightly homework is to read 20-30 minutes!
Writing: We continue our unit on opinion writing.
Spelling: We will have the test on Unit 14 on Tuesday. Remember that these words are available for practice on SpellingCity.com.
Vocabulary: We are doing review pages in our book for units 1-6.
Social Studies: We continue chapter 2, lesson 2, learning about CA Indian cultures.
Science: We continue chapter 3.
Religion: We are doing activities related to Thanksgiving. Students who didn’t do well on the chapter 11 quiz will have a chance to better their scores on Tuesday.
Homework:
Monday: Reading response journal and Math worksheet page 123
Tuesday: Reading response journal and ixL math skill T 4.
