Dear Kindergarten Families,

I hope everyone had time to enjoy this beautiful weekend! Holy Week is upon us, we will continue to read and reflect the Passion of Christ. Wednesday morning we will attend Mass.

Jog-a-thon was a big success! Your children had a great time, they ran, danced and had cool treats. Thanks to our PTC and parents who were able to come and help this with this annual event.

Today is the semi-finalist speech contest.  Our six semi-finalists are: Grace, Jonèe, Sebastian, Asher, Angela, and Jomari. We wish all good luck and are happy for everyone. Our class competes with first grade. Final speeches for all grades will be heard on Wednesday morning.

Addition continues in math, this week we will add double numbers. Singular and plural nouns have been introduced in the stories read last week. We will continue to listen for the difference in these naming words.  Earth Day will be a focus as we list ways to care for our planet.

**Wednesday is a free dress – please bring in $1.00 to support our mission efforts for this trimester.

Thursday, a noon dismissal begins Easter Vacation. I hope everyone has a beautiful Easter Sunday following with a relaxing and peaceful week. We are back in school Monday, May 2.
