Hard to believe Thanksgiving is just around the corner! We have so much to be thankful for. I count my blessings everyday I teach your children. 🙂
Days ahead:
Primary Centers is Friday with a noon dismissal. Next Tuesday is the last day of this first trimester.
Academics:
Understanding God’s love for us * learning the Lord’s Prayer * being thankful family and friends
A fall animals unit find us reading, writing and working on an art project – this week all about the Hedgehog. The Woodland animals unit includes science and social studies standards.
Math continues with geometric shapes and simple addition. Math facts to 10 and a challenge to 20 using dice, ten frame and number line.
Homework
Yellow folder has a math paper and a book response form. Read together each night and find a favorite book. Use Book Nook form to retell story. Have your child draw settings and characters. Homework is due next Tuesday – can be turned in this Friday or Monday. Check Seesaw for activities. We started this in class – to learn concept and skill.
