We will reflect on the Holy Spirit. The gift of air from God is an invisible reality. The reality of the Holy Spirit is explained as help from God that guides us to live as good stewards to others and the earth.
Language Arts-phonics short vowel /e/, word families ‘et’ and ‘en’, writing sentences with descriptive words. And our best printing always! Practicing reading CVC words, noting each sound beginning-vowel-ending. Reading and noting important details in stories: looking closely at characters, setting, problem and solution.
Continuing with addition in math this week. Vocabulary: sum, addends, plus sign, and equal sign. In groups we will use coins and objects to count — a practice good number formation and number sentences. Use coins at home to reinforce counting pennies, nickels, and dimes.
Social Studies-finish up our Patriotic Symbols book, science lab this Wednesday.
