We have an exciting, four day week ahead!

  • Monday we have an art lesson and music
  • Tuesday and Thursday Motor Skills – PE clothes can be worn
  • Wednesday – Veterans Day observance
  • Friday is a 11:45 dismissal and at 1:45 we return to school via Zoom for Families. Look for email later in week for room number.
  • Note make sure your child has their Kindle charged, brings in personal wipes and hand sanitizer.

Religion lessons continue with learning about our Saints. We will do some work on our Saints in class and at home. More details coming soon.

Reading will focus on the words to connect the pages as we reread our old favorite books. We use words like “and then” “after that” as we remember what happened each page in the story.

Rhyming sorts continue this week. Phonics workshop – sound of Oo and a quick look at all vowels. Writing and phonics pair up and teach us to use letters and their sounds when labeling pictures in our writing pieces.

Our Show and Tell writing unit is helping us to work on labels and speech bubbles to make our writing pieces easy to teach and read to others.

Math finds us working with coins, patterns and geometric shapes.

Science lesson on World’s Biggest Apple will be this week.

Veterans Day we will discuss and read about people who have served our country.
