PEEK AT OUR WEEK
READING: We are finishing up our unit of meeting characters and learning lessons. Students having been learning how to write book recommendations.
PHONICS: We are learning how to look and listen for rhyming patterns.
WRITING: We are finishing our second book in our Series Writing. Students will work on the finishing touches of their writing and submit for publication by the end of the week.
SPELLING: Students should continue working on their new sorts. There are activities on Spelling City that will help them with their spelling patterns. Spelling Test will be on Mondays.
SCIENCE: We will learn how seeds travel.
SOCIAL STUDIES: We continue learning about the government and democracy focusing on the Bill of Rights.
MATH: We continue to learn about fact families and number sequencing. We will be finishing the unit early next week and taking the Unit 2 Assessment.
RELIGION: We learned about the Feast of All Saints. We are finishing Unit 2 Chapter 6 which focuses on how Jesus showing us how to love others. We will be taking the Unit 2 Chapter 6 Quiz on Thursday.
