Dear Families,

It was so nice to see everyone on Grandparents Day. This Wednesday is $1 Free Dress in blue and green. Friday is a full day of school. Next Monday, September 16th is a noon dismissal as teachers have a meeting. Below is an overview of our week:

Religion: Jesus Calls Us to Worship.

Vocabulary: Unit 1. We are having our unit 1 test on Friday.

Grammar: This week our focus is on using subordinating conjunctions to form complex sentences.

Math: We are taking our Unit 1 test on Wednesday.

Social Studies: We will evaluate the accomplishments of the Anasazi civilization. We will take our Chapter 1 test next Wednesday.

Science: Cell organization. Cells join together to perform basic life functions in multi cellular organisms.

ELA: We are thinking up a whole new way to tell a story.
