A group of middle school students have organized a special service project and are asking for our help. They are collecting used clothing for children ages 4-18, clothing which will be taken to the Dominican Republic this Thursday and distributed to children in need. All clothing needs to be brought in on Tuesday or Wednesday. There will be bins placed outside along the car line for your convenience.
The Speech contest will be at the end of April. I have asked the fourth graders to select a published poem before we go on Easter break, so that they can practice during the vacation. Everyone must select a different poem, from 15-20 lines, so it is first come, first serve. Once selected, a copy of the poem should be brought to school for me to record.
