Dear Third Grade Families,

Happy Thanksgiving! This week will be short and sweet with many fun activities taking place; but first, we have to wrap up the Trimester.

As mentioned in last week’s newsletter, on Monday we will be completing Math Chapter 2 and Science Chapter 7 with chapter tests.

Since this is such a short week (only two full days) with many students going out of town or families arriving in town, we will not have Reading Logs or spelling words. However, Accelerated Math will go home. This will be the only homework this week.

Monday afternoon we will attach our decorated feathers to the SHS turkey. This will be featured at our special Thanksgiving mass at 8:30 on Wednesday morning. Families are welcome to join us.

Please note that on Tuesday, there will not be any School Family Envelopes sent home. We will not have student work packets on this day either.

Wednesday, after mass, we will enjoy a Thanksgiving theme snack courtesy of our fantastic room moms.

Don’t forget that Wednesday there will be noon dismissal.
