Our week in 4thgrade…
Math: We are working on big numbers and powers to ten in our classroom this week. Please remember to take a look at our homework to see what we are working on.
ELA:
-Writing: We are continuing our writing. We are meeting with our partners to share our essays and asking for feedback as we aim to fully support our claims as we write.
-Reading: We are working on our nonfiction unit. Please help by encouraging nonfiction books at home! We are writing 7 sentences in cursive for our second trimester RRJ. Remember nightly homework is to read 20-30 minutes but our RRJ is 1 time a week! We are alternating fiction and nonfiction responses this week! This week is fiction responses. Please encourage your student to follow the guide we worked on in class.
-Spelling: Please check your student’s daily planner for their spelling words this week.
Social Studies: We are still working on our mission projects this week!
Science:We are again working on a big art project focusing on our food chains. Stay tuned for the final result!
Religion:This week we will complete our Virtus lessons. Thank you to all for returning your permission slips.
