Dear Kindergarten families,

Your students are doing a great job in class and with their homework! Endangered animals will be big part of learning about mortality as we continue to learn responsibility for God’s creation. Endangered animals will be our focus for religion, science, reading and writing as we continue to research this important topic.

Math finds us working with addition and subtraction facts to ten and twenty. Tally marks and graphing will continue as we do a bit of surveying around the campus.

Looking ahead

Catholic Schools Week begins this Friday. Please help our community and pantry next week with a donation of non-perishable food items and clothing/socks for warm wear. Your child brought home a large paper bag for these items today. More information on our school website.

Primary Centers is next Friday, February 2 and is a noon dismissal.

Our 100 Day of School is on February 5. Collect items and use zip-lock bags and make groups of 5 or 10 to equal 100. Examples: stickers, pennies, cotton balls, Q-tips, Skittles, M&Ms etc. Giving you a head start! This will be our next week’s homework. I will provide a special 100 day bag to bring items to school.

1 16-count Crayola Triangular crayons
1 5-count, low odor, fine tip Expo markers (please not ultra-fine) preferably black.
1 12-count Crayola broad line washable markers
