The 7th grade class wrote beautiful Haikus about the nature of Japan. Each haiku was descriptive and serene. The students also wrote their name in Japanese on their poems.

The 7th grade is completing their study of Ancient Japan. We learned about their geography, social structure, resources, culture and Zen practices. Each student created their own Zen garden to help them practice the art of being calm and peaceful. Next we move on to China dynasties!

Wednesday through Friday, January 5, 6, and 7, our students attend class in the morning, and family members meet with teachers at designated times each afternoon in person or virtually.
