The middle school students reviewed a Brainpop movie on going back to school in 2020. We then discussed the challenges and strategies to help us complete a successful year. Part of the discussion focused on staying positive through our faith and support of our families. We are ready to learn and grow in 2020!

The 6th grade continues the study of the amazing Ancient Greeks. We are currently reviewing the Greek gods, myths, temples and architecture. The students are creating their own amphora drawings with Greek gods and a short myth. Some pots explain a rainbow, waves and the nature of dogs!

The 6th grade class continues to focus on the Old Testament. We are now learning about some of the prophets including Isaiah and Amos. Using a worksheet and the projector we colored in a map of Israel and Judah from ancient times. The map helps us understand the places and people of ancient Palestine.
