Yesterday was the Memorial of the Holy Guardian Angels. In middle school during religion class we discussed the role and gifts of angels in our lives. Each grade completed an activity after reading about angels in the bible.

The 6th grade continues their study of early humans and the beginnings of civilization. After taking a virtual tour of Lascaux Caves in France, the art teacher had the students tell a story using sandpaper to mimic the rough cave walls. The stories drawn featured hunting parties, building fires, and nature.
This summer each 6th grader researched a European country and created a Buncee project with information to share with the class. We have had a wonderful time traveling around Europe learning about places to visit, food to eat, and the beautiful geography. Next week are going to learn about early humans!
