The 7th grade class is studying the Italian Renaissance time period. Our campus is full of beautiful sculptures including the Pieta. After viewing them and learning about Michelangelo the class used clay to sculpt their own masterpieces. Next we will learn about the amazing renaissance man, Leonardo da Vinci!
The 7th grade had an exciting adventure to the Getty Center today. We viewed incredible paintings, detailed sculptures, and gilded furniture. The class also walked the beautiful gardens and enjoyed the fun tram ride. Our history studies will continue on the Middle Ages and then the Renaissance!
The 7th grade class is finishing their study of Jesus’s parables. They read many different parables and discussed the lessons in each one. We are working on spreading God’s message and improving our everyday life.
